rustic atmosphere, very nice courtyard / guest garden, food and beer very tasty! Seßlach is worth a visit but even more with the Red Ox !!

Delicious! We had pumpkin soup, autumn salad and roulades with dumplings. Everything was very good and came quickly and fresh from the kitchen. The service was very friendly. The cozy parlor in the courtyard is very cozy and a creative solution to be able to currently entertain the guests.

Super delicious Schäufele ... Franconian Sauerbraten with sauce cakes like in grandma's time and homemade dumplings ... simply delicious ... anytime and gladly again.

A very nice restaurant in a well-preserved medieval town. Staff is very friendly and kind. The food is delicious. The Schäufele are a stunner. Keep it up!

The food was very sparse. Roulade no bigger than a toothpick and the Schäufele probably came from the suckling pig. The red cabbage and sauerkraut as a side dish no more than a tablespoon full. Deceptive for the advertising where they make.

A very nice beer garden where you can eat really well. The staff was super friendly even though it was very busy. We could stay without a reservation. Always my pleasure.

A nice beer garden. The dishes on the menu all sound delicious. Unfortunately, our loins were all very tough and dry. And a hint that we would have to leave after 1 1/2 hours if we made a reservation would have been nice. We would have liked to have a little chat.

Very good food. Nice playground for small and big children. Not expensive at all!

We had pre-booked for six people. Unfortunately, we had to wait over half an hour in the beer garden before we got something to drink. The staff was a bit disorganized. Presumably an operation has failed. For that I should actually only give three stars. The good food then pushed the rating up to four stars.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful small town of living history. Local house beer, good food, good prices.

Excellent "real German" food which I appreciated very much as a delicious ingredient of my visit in my home country. Sitting in the Biergarten was equally nice and a big relief for us adults as the children could play ona rich children's playground. And not to forget: the great beer and the friendly service.
